High-riding AmaZulu Football Club, which has in the last half of the current DStv Premiership season mounted a serious challenge against defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns, will visit Alexandra on Sunday.

The eThekwini side, which has enjoyed a good run of luck under the tutelage of its astute coach and former Bafana Bafana striker of note Benni McCarthy, will be coming to the township to share the coaching skills and winning strategies that have propelled it from a side fighting relegation to one that is challenging for honours.

The Usuthu coaching clinics, which will be in partnership with the Maimane Alex Development Foundation’s Maimane Alfred Phiri (Map) Games and Alexandra Northrand Local Football Association, will be held at the Number 3 Square Grounds on 16 May.

It is expected that all the players of the rejuvenated squad, along with its technical staff led by McCarthy himself, will descend on the iconic township which was well-known for its sporting, dramatic arts, and music prowess dating back from the 1980s to the late 1950s.
