Bramley tournament hones youngsters’ football skills
GRESSWOLD – HP Stars launch the inaugural Bramley Future Stars Tournament 2019.
The Gresswold-based Hitler Prince Stars, better known as HP Stars in the Alexandra Northrand Local Football Association (Alex Northrand LFA) after its founder Prince Hitler Ndlovu, hosted its inaugural Bramley Future Champions November Tournament on 23 November last year at the Gresswold Park Stadium.
The tournament was for the U11, U13 and U15 age groups, with the tournament hosts winning the U15 tournament 1–0 against Alex Arsenal City while the U13 division was won by Super Stars who beat Alex Arsenal City 2–1. The U11s was won by HP Stars 3–1 after overcoming Happy Fighters.
Tournament organiser, Ndlovu, whose club plies its trade in the Alex Northrand LFA, said he hoped to turn the tournament into an annual event to develop and hone the football skills of the youngsters at an early age.
He also thanked the community of both Bramley and Gresswold, teams that participated, their coaches and parents for the support shown.
