The Gresswold prince of football cries for help to keep the children off the streets and away from mischief

GRESSWOLD -– Hitlers Prince Ndlovu, the Gresswold prince of football, is appealing to sponsorships or partnerships to help him realise his dream of nurturing future Bafana Bafana stars.

Hitlers Prince Stars FC has come a long way since it was founded in 2014.

The club started with a mere three children to the current crop of more than 200 youngsters that are itching to make a name for themselves in the beautiful game.

But they can only become the stars of the future through proper nurturing and grooming from their coaches coupled with partners with the financial muscle that can make things happen for the tenacious youngsters.

Hitlers Prince Ndlovu, co-founder of the Gresswold-based HP Stars as they are fondly known in the Alexandra Northrand Local Football Association league where they ply their trade, said he was eager to attract partners or sponsors to join the club. The club has six divisional teams comprising U8, U11, U13, U15, U17, and U19.

“I am keen to find sponsors or partners, whichever the case may be, to join us and help create the conducive environment for these kids to excel and realise their dreams of stardom in the beautiful game,” said Ndlovu, who was born and bred in Gresswold.

The 20-year-old Ndlovu has a clear vision for the future of not just the club but more so for the children, said he was confident of the realisation of his dream to one day see his ‘products’ plying their trade in the big-name teams of the Premier Soccer League. “I can then rest in peace knowing the job has been done and the dream fulfilled.

“We would like to see these kids playing good football, showcasing their skills, staying united and being role models in the community. We want to see them develop to the extent that one day we can sit and watch them on TV and pride ourselves as having contributed in a small way to their success.”

Currently, Ndlovu said he and the players’ parents and friends fork out of their own pockets to keep the club running.

“My call is to those with a special heart for children to partner with us to ensure our dream of keeping the children off the streets and away from mischief… so we could preserve the future of our tomorrow leaders today.”
