The Alexandra Northrand Local Football Association (ANLFA) has taken the opportunity to wish the community of Alexandra and all its affiliates and football lovers a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
This was the message from the secretary general, Mafika Morajane, who urged all those that will travel to various destinations in the country for the festive season to do so safely, not to drink and drive nor drive at high speeds and to always obey the rules of the road for their own safety and that of other motorists and pedestrians.
“I take this opportunity to wish all the Christians and those celebrating Christmas for a safe and healthy festive season. In whatever you do, think about the person next to you, and share whatever you have to make everyone remember 2016,” he said.
Morajane said the association will be taking a recess and its offices will close as of 19 December and will re-open on 10 January next year, ready to rumble for the entire year.
