Premier Soccer League acting CEO, Mato Madlala congratulated Mamelodi Sundowns for the achievement, a feat that has never been done since the inauguration of the Q-Innovation two seasons ago.

Had Sundowns started the season well, they could have easily swept the boards of the Q-Innovation system. The first quarter of the season went to league rivals, Bidvest Wits and the rest were swept by the Yellow Machine.
