A wounded Orlando Pirates will look to re-assert itself in group B when they take on CS Sfaxien of Tunisia in the Confederations of African Football Confederation (Caf) Cup clash on 26 July at Stade Taieb Mhiri.

Kick-off for this match, the third in the group stages that Pirates will be involved in, is set for 9.15pm South African time. When these two sides last met in the 2006 semi-final of the Caf Champions League campaign, the score line was a nil-nil affair at home and the Buccaneers lost 1-0 in the away leg.

Assistant Coach Tebogo Moloi, who held the same position for the Buccaneers in the 2006 campaign, will hope to draw from his experience of playing Sfaxien at home and help his charges improve where he left off.

The currently second-placed Soweto giants on the group log will look to overturn their previous misfortunes in order to stay on course for qualification to the next stage of the competition.

Pirates will be smarting from a 2-1 home defeat to Egyptian giants, Zamalek at the Mbombela Stadium on 12 July. But they still have a chance to top the group if they can beat the Tunisians in the away game this weekend.

The Buccaneers will see the return of their central defensive stalwart, Siyabonga Sangweni, who missed the clash with the Egyptian White Knights due to a family bereavement.
