Football lovers in Polokwane have been handed an early Christmas present.
The fans are in for a treat just before the Christmas break of the season as the Premier Soccer League has scheduled the first double header of the 2014/15 Absa Premiership season in their town.
The double header will feature Polokwane City, University of Pretoria, Kaizer Chiefs and the Free State Stars. The scheduling of the double header was confirmed by the league’s media officer Luxolo September.
September said the double header will be played on Reconciliation Day on 16 December at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane in Limpopo. He said the first match will feature Polokwane City which will host the University of Pretoria at 3pm.
The Polokwane City and University of Pretoria match will be followed by Kaizer Chiefs against Free State Stars at 6pm.
