At the launch, Gwamanda hailed this year’s Arts Alive programme, describing it as ‘an assemblage of artistic and creative minds of note within our city that will take the arts programme to another level’.
Gwamanda said the city was a hive and bedrock of arts and culture in the country and indeed the continent and hence ‘we always go out of our way to ensure this tradition of 32 years continues to flourish with its economic impact on our city and the country as a whole’.
