“Every child deserves a chance to grow and develop in a safe and nurturing environment. Our Children’s Day event celebrates their unique personalities and abilities. We’re thrilled to bring together creches from different clusters to share this joy.

“With this event, we want our children to know what Children’s Day is and to get them out of classrooms to play with other children. And it’s an opportunity for us clusters to build relationships, share knowledge, and create a stronger community for our children,” Leruli said.
The day was filled with laughter and excitement as children from different creches came together to play, socialise and create memories. The highlight was the various activities set up for the little ones to enjoy.
The soccer field was abuzz with young football enthusiasts, kicking and chasing after the ball with glee. Meanwhile, the jumping castle was a hub of activity, with children bouncing and jumping with infectious energy.
For those who preferred a more competitive spirit, the obstacle course was a hit and children of different ages worked together, racing against each other to reach the finish line. The atmosphere was electric, with cheers and shouts of encouragement from their teachers echoing through the air.
The event also provided opportunities for teachers from different creches to connect, share stories and experiences, and learn from one another. The Alexandra ECD team worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure that every aspect of the event went smoothly and was enjoyable.
