PSL’s moment of silence for the late Inkosi Mangosuthu Buthelezi

A moment of silence will be observed at all matches under the jurisdiction of the Premier Soccer League in honour of the 'fall of the big tree' Inkosi Mangosuthu Buthelezi.

The Premier Soccer League (PSL) is deeply saddened by the passing of Inkosi Mangosuthu Buthelezi, whose death the league described as the ‘fall of a big tree’.

As a result, the league announced that a moment of silence will be observed in his honour ahead of this weekend’s DStv Premiership, Motsepe Foundation Championship, and DStv Diski Challenge fixtures.

“Inkosi Buthelezi has assiduously cultivated his legacy with great aplomb and the PSL would like to convey its heartfelt condolences to the Buthelezi family, and the AmaZulu nation at large and may his soul repose peacefully. Ulale ngokuthula Shenge,” a statement from the league said.
