Eugenious wows learners at Dr Knak and Norwood primary schools

Learners at Norwood and Dr Knank primary school are encouraged to always stay on the straight and narrow and not cross hairs with the law.

Alex musician Eugine Selemela, better known by his stage name Eugenious, mesmerised learners of Dr Knak and Norwood primary schools recently when he was called to perform and encourage the learners not to do drugs and other activities that may harm them and their future.

Eugenious was not alone on the stage as he was accompanied by other musicians, Tpk Trapmash, Simphiwe Vincent of Siya Yyenza Lento Films. “We were called by Sanca to come and perform as part of efforts to raise awareness to children around issues of drug abuse and other related social ills that learners often fall victim to and that are bound to ruin their school life and future, including to not bully other children and not to do any form of crime,” Eugenious said.

“Sanca asked me to perform for the children at their event and also punt anti-drug messages and encourage them to stay on the straight and narrow and I did just that along with my friends in the industry as music is often a motivator on its own,” he said.

Eugenious said he never hesitated when called upon as ‘I really care for the children as our future and I would not like to see them on the bad side of the law. My music also serves to inspire them for greater heights in life’.

Eugenious also pointed out that even his upcoming album talks to the same message, urging both teens and the youth never to give up on their dreams and on life no matter what the situation may be.
