Another Alex coach has a date with Destiny

I’m looking forward to the upcoming season of ABC Motsepe League and hope we can deliver promotion to the club, says Wiseman Nkabini.

Destiny College FC’s newly appointed Alex coach Vincent ‘Young Master’ Rammoni has roped in one of Alex’s most promising coaches, Wiseman ‘Pepe’ Nkabini, to assist him in the arduous task that lies ahead to get the Mpumalanga outfit promoted to the Motsepe Foundation Championship next season.

Nkabini, a former coach of Black Poison in the Alex Northrand LFA who later moved with the team after winning promotion to the Johannesburg Men’s Regional League, has already left for his new role with Destiny as team manager.

His arrival at Destiny, which currently plies its trade in the South African Football Association’s (Safa) ABC Motsepe League in Mpumalanga, was announced by the Young Master himself, who said he had taken him to Mpumalanga to help the side gain the much-needed promotion.

Rammoni said he was preparing to take Destiny to the championship when the ABC Motsepe League’s 2023/24 season finally kicks off in September. He saw it fitting to rope in Nkabini to assist him in the fight for promotion.

“I chose him for the apparent reason that I know that he is a hard worker and a man who is highly disciplined, dedicated, and passionate about the game of football. A man that is honest and has integrity and can help me achieve the club goals,” Rammoni told Alex News.

At the time of his departure, Nkabini was at the reigns of Amajananda FC in the Alex Northrand LFA Promotional League, and as team manager, Rammoni said he would be in charge of the day-to-day running of the club and also organising the required paperwork.
Nkabini told Alex News he was overjoyed and grateful for the opportunity to become part of the technical team. “It’s been amazing here, and I am already learning a lot as coach Rammoni’s righthand man and at the same time enjoying every moment of my new role.

“I’m looking forward to the upcoming season of ABC Motsepe League with bated breath as it’s going to be my first season of involvement in the team and its league and I hope we can, as a team, deliver the required deliverables for the club.”
