Local maskandi music artist promises a hot full album next year

Alex's own local Maskandi music artist Thembinkosi Xulu promise his supporters that he will drop a full album next year.

Following a successful album in 2021 titled Kulele Inkosi, a local maskandi music artist, Thembinkosi Xulu also known as ‘Ijongo Elisha’ recently released his extended play (EP) with five songs.

His latest EP is titled Dear Ex Yami translated ‘dear my ex-lover’.

Xulu, who hails from Maphumulo in KZN and now resides in Alexandra, said his previous work received a positive response from music lovers and the general public. His last album, which was a tribute to his late role model Mjikijelwa Ngubane, received airplay in different radio stations and online music downloads from thousands of people.

“This EP was my offering for all music lovers who supported my craft since I got into music industry. I titled it Dear Ex Yami, which is one of the tracks on the EP. In track three of the EP I featured one of the well-known maskandi music artist Mnikezwa Ngubane.”

Xulu promised his music lovers and supporters a hot, full music album next year.

“I will not release an album this year as a sign of respect to my father who passed away in September last year. I recently released a single track titled Rest in peace as a tribute to my father who was my number one music supporter.”

He added that all his music was available on all digital music platforms for purchase.
