10bet donates soccer kits to the Map Games in Alex

10bet South Africa hands over soccer kits to eight teams of the Maimane Alfred Phiri (MAP) tournament in Alexandra.

10bet South Africa handed over soccer kits to eight teams who made it to the quarter and semi-finals of the Maimane Alfred Phiri (Map) Games soccer tournament which took place in Alexandra.

The Map Games soccer tournament affectionately known as the Kasi World Cup, was founded in 2001 by former Bafana Bafana midfielder Maimane Alfred Phiri.

Since its inception in 2001, the tournament has taken place annually and has created a professional and well-organised platform for aspiring soccer players, coaches and administrators from all across South Africa and bordering countries to showcase their skills and passion for the game.

“I am very happy that we could provide the eight quarter-finalists with the playing kits and even more excited that the partnership with 10bet enabled us to do so. I can only hope that we can grow this relationship between the two brands further. The past three years have been very challenging, so it is very pleasing to see that there are brands who are willing to extend a helping hand and be part of #idiskiyasekasi,” said Phiri.

“I’d like to thank 10bet for their generosity, the clubs new and old for being part of the games and wish the remaining clubs all the best as they tussle to be champions.”

CSR and PR manager at 10bet South Africa Zanele Nhlapo said, “As 10bet SA, we firmly believe in the transformative power of sports. Our confidence comes from a deep understanding of the influence that sports can have on communities, it creates unity and inspires individuals to reach their full potential.

“We would like to extend our best wishes to Map Games and the finalists who made it through. We are honoured to be part of their journey and look forward to witnessing these thrilling matches for decades to come.”
