The rumble and tumble of the giant-slaying opportunities of the 'David versus Goliath Cup's kicks off on February 7 and fans await this football spectacle with bated breath as some of their favourite teams could tumbe out or rumble forward.

The boys will be sorted out from the men as the Nedbank Cup begins to rumble and tumble on February 7 when defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns open up the proceedings with a home game against Richards Bay FC.

That match is scheduled for kick-off at 19:30 at Loftus Versfeld Stadium in Pretoria and will have a simultaneous start with that of Marumo Gallants versus Magesi FC at Royal Bafokeng Stadium.

The Motsepe Foundation Championship side from Limpopo will attempt a giant-slaying opportunity against struggling DStv Premiership outfit Marumo Gallants, who were the champions of the 2021 edition of the cup by default after buying the premiership status of Tshakuma Tsa Madzivhandila FC.
