Zenzeleni boy electrocuted by illegal connections

A boy learner from Zenzeleni Primary School is believed to have been electrocuted by illegal connection cables around 6th Avenue near Vincent Tshabalala Road this afternoon.

The information leading to the boy’s death is still sketchy but is said to have been knocked off of school and gone home.

He and his friends then decided to go to a nearby library but it is not clear whether he was electrocuted on the way to the library or on way home.

The spokesperson of the Gauteng Department of Education Steve Mabona has been approached for comment but is still yet to come back to Alex News.
