Centre in Marlboro appeals to be put in the centre of festivities this Christmas

Connie Mngomezulu Training Workshop social worker and manager in Marlboro Albertina Ramogase urges the public to include them in their Christmas list of shopping items to mark the festive season.

The Connie Mngomezulu Training Workshop, caters to people on the disability spectrum and empowers them with the life skills and training to be able to be self-sufficient. These skills include various craft fields. They have released a wish list for this year’s festive season.

The workshop’s social worker and manager Albertina Ramogase, has described her organisation as having immense challenges as it seeks to empower those living with disabilities. She prepared the wish list and asks South Africans not to forget those who are in dire need when they celebrate Christmas this festive season.

“I urge you not to forget us when you embark on your budget and list of items to have for the festive season. What would a festive season be without sharing in the festivities with those unable to fend for themselves,” she said in her release of the workshop’s wish list to Alex News.

1. Carpet/rubber tiles to complete the renovation of the storeroom (12.8 x8) meters
