Alex Northrand LFA Promotional League set to begin

Alex Northrand LFA secretary general Malvin Khumalo says the LFA hopes to kick off the Promotional League in the next two weeks if all goes according to plan.

The Alexandra Northrand Local Football Association (ANLFA) Promotional League is set to kick off in two weeks’ time.

This was confirmed by Alex Northrand LFA secretary general Malvin Khumalo in an interview around the league which should have kicked off by now. “We have had a slight delay in the kick-off as we are waiting for the teams to finalise their payments for participation in order to kick off.”

Khumalo was not in a position to indicate how many teams will participate in the league and whether there will be a need to have streams like last season. He said they will only know the number of teams once application forms for participation have been completed and payments made.

“If all goes well and according to plan, we hope to kick off the league in the coming two weeks.”
The Promotional League allows the winner of the league to climb one rung up the promotional journey to the SAB League on the long and arduous road of several rungs to the ultimate and prestigious Premier Soccer League’s DStv Premiership.
