Public urged to come and buy from auction

Disused state property and goods forfeited to the State from the South African Police Service in Alexandra, Bramley, Midrand, Sandringham and Sandton will be auctioned on November 24 in Wynberg.

The South African Police Service in the Johannesburg North Sub-District is calling on the communities in the area to participate in an upcoming public auction.

Goods that will be auctioned on November 24 at the revamped Alexandra Police Station in Wynberg will include electrical appliances, building materials, office furniture, tools and many other items.

Bramley police said the goods on auction included those which were owned by the State but are no longer in use as well as those that were forfeited to the State.

The items on sale emanate from the cluster of police stations in the sub-district such as Alexandra, Bramley, Midrand, Sandringham and Sandton. The auction will take place at the Old Alexandra Police Station next to the Alexandra Magistrate’s Court at number 222 2nd Street in Wynberg starting at 09:00.
