Teacher and learner allegedly stab each other at Alex High

A teacher and learner are said to have stabbed each other at Alexandra High School on Monday and Tuesday respectively.

An assistant teacher and a learner have allegedly stabbed each other at the Alexandra High School.

According to sketchy information, it is alleged that the teacher stabbed the learner on August 26 with a tin opener. The following day the pupil came to school with a knife. The learner then, allegedly, used the knife to stab the teacher in the back.
The reasons for the stabbings are not clear yet, as this is a developing story, but it is understood that the injured received medical assistance from an ambulance.

Alex News will keep you informed on the developments of this story. A request has been sent to the Gauteng Department of Education to elaborate on what happened between the teacher and the learner, and the cause of the said stabbings.
