Celebrate women’s wellness at She Garden Party

Farmers Market Yethu calls on women of all backgrounds to a She Garden Party event, where nature meets nurture and rejoicing in connecting with like-minded women.

In a world where the urban pace often overshadows the serenity of nature, Farmers Market Yethu invites women of all backgrounds to reclaim their connection with Mother Earth, Mother Love on August 25.

The She Garden Party, set to take place at 46, 13th Avenue in Alex, promises an immersive experience centred around love, peace, and wellness.

The visionary behind this event, Refilwe Pieterse, said women deserve peace and love, and nature provides these essentials in abundance.

“Since the move of mankind away from nature, life has become more difficult and affecting women’s role on planet earth. We cannot disconnect ourselves from our origin, ‘nature’, and without it, we experience trauma and perish.

“As women, we belong to love and peace just like the mood in our wombs. We are here to look after the womb of planet Earth. By nature, our wombs are full of love to form the creation of humans for the future of our planet; our wombs are a miracle to multiply our kind and yes, to us women, peace and love are necessary,” Pieterse said.

She said by hosting the She Garden Party, they aim to create a space where females can heal, connect, and thrive. The event is set to recognise the deep-rooted challenges women face.

“Prophet Matseke in his recent sermon stated that most women’s wombs are affected by the pain and generational trauma and some traumas come a long way back from ancient times.”

Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in a variety of holistic experiences. The event features an intimate meditation session and practical lessons in yoga and massage, ensuring that participants leave with tools for mindfulness that they can integrate into their everyday lives.

“It’s about restoring the wellness of the mind, spirit, and body. Our wombs are a miracle and they embody the essence of love and creation. We need to foster both within ourselves and in our environment.”

Pieterse added that the She Garden Party is more than just an event, it’s an experience filled with expert-led workshops and interactive sessions.

“Participants can look forward to nourishing food by Renny Hlatswayo from AfriSoilDNA, and culinary delights from Kgopolang, Mmatsatsi Mokoena, and others.

“The event will include storytelling by Granny Maphalla, engaging talks on woman nature by Pinky Mapelle, rejuvenating massages from Sasekisa Spa and nail care by Shalex Nail Studio,” Pieterse said.

The day will unfold in two sessions, the morning will focus on spiritual grounding while the afternoon will prioritise physical well-being.

“Spaces are limited to accommodate an intimate gathering, with only 50 women accepted for morning and afternoon sessions. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.

“Interested participants are encouraged to book their spots quickly and become part of a transformative journey that embraces the essence of womanhood and our vital connection to nature.”
