NGOs grateful for the stationery donations

Innocent Ngwenya of Lehae la Alex calls for a continuation of initiatives such as this one in service of the needy.

Alex Mall in partnership with Delivery Ka Speed presented five NGO charities with stationery hampers.

The stationery hampers were on display before the NGO representatives came to collect them.

The community were asked to nominate their favourite charities through the mall’s Facebook page and Alex News.
The five charities, Rays of Hope, Generational Hobo Homeless Drive, Alex Royal Tigers SC, Legae la Alex and the Phuthaditjaba Centre, collected their hampers on October 24.

Lehae la Alex NPO sent a message of appreciation on receipt of its 42 exam hampers for its beneficiaries.
“As an organisation that has no sponsors, we highly appreciate this initiative which came in handy for us and the beneficiaries and we urge those with some financial muscle not to tire and continue reaching out to the needy,” said Innocent Ngwenya of Lehae la Alex.
