Alex Hub offers a business workshop for women in business

Alex Hub empowers women in business this Women's Month.

On August 21, Alex Hub also known as D-lab, organised a Women In Business workshop for business women.

FHI360, Heartlines, and Bathabile Moreki also joined to deliver presentations of their success stories in their businesses.

Precinct coordinator at the Alex Hub Mandy Lombo said, “The D-lab offers services such as business support, a youth café that assists in registering the businesses, and other technological services as they have free Wi-Fi.
“Since it is Women’s Month we decided to celebrate it by empowering women and business is relevant to this day and age as a result of job scarcity. So encouraging women to have an alternative source of income is our aim.”

She concluded,”The workshop allowed us to get to know a lot of local businesses owned by women and their needs so that when we introduce our programmes we tailor them to fit those needs.”
