On August 19, Exact clothing store in Pan Africa Mall was robbed of cellphones.
Alexandra Police Station Commander Brigadier Lindiwe Magudulela said, “A manager at Exact shop number 29 in Pan Africa Mall alleged that he was on duty along with six of his colleagues when they were approached by three armed unknown males who pointed firearms at them.”
Magudulela added the employees, a security guard and four customers were taken to the store room and tied up with cable ties. Following this, five more perpetrators joined their accomplices.
“The suspects demanded cellphones that were in the safe but the key was not available, so they took 29 cellphones that were on display. They didn’t take money from the tills and no injuries or shootings occurred.
“No arrests have been made and the investigations are underway.”
