Five stalls gutted by fire outside Pan Africa Shopping Centre

The cause of the fire remains unknown at this stage.

About five stalls outside the Pan Africa Shopping Centre were gutted by a fire last night (May 11).

It is not known what started the fire outside the mall, which is currently undergoing reconstruction after it was razed to the ground during the July looting and unrest said to be related to the arrest of former President Jacob Zuma for contempt of court after he refused to take part in the Stewarts Capture Commission.

The mall is being rebuilt with other shops already trading from March this year.

It is believed that no one was injured in the incident, as the fire happened during the night.

This is developing story and Alex News will bring you more details as the day progresses.
