Woman forced to take drugs before being raped

ALEX – The suspect is alleged to have told the victim not to report the matter to the police.

Police detectives are investigating a kidnapping and a rape case that took place last year on November 27 at about 21:00 in River Park.

According to police spokesperson Sergeant Simphiwe Mbatha, the complainant alleged that she was with her two friends when they heard a knock on the door. They asked who it was, a known man answered and demanded that they open the door or he will break down the burglar gate. They opened for him and he started to search the house. He ended up taking R2 800 from the wardrobe before forcing the complainant to leave with him.

“The complainant added that the suspect then took her to East Bank cemetery and told her to choose her grave site. Soon after that, the suspect took the complainant to his house. Later that night, he started forcing himself on her. This happened several times. The complainant alleges that the suspect also forced her to sniff crystal meth and then raped her afterwards.

“The complaint added that the suspect will also bring other girls and ask her to watch while they engage in sexual intercourse. He would also give her mandrax before asking her to do other things to his manhood,” explained Mbatha.

The suspect is alleged to have told the victim not to report the matter to the police.

No one has been arrested yet but an investigation is underway.
