Mayoral committee more determined than ever – mayor

JOBURG – Executive mayor Dr Mpho Phalatse highlighted seven fundamentals which the committee hopes to achieve.

City of Johannesburg executive mayor Dr Mpho Phalatse and her mayoral committee remain committed to usher in a new era for service delivery in the City.

This was according to Phalatse at a briefing on January 12 on the committee’s immediate, medium and long-term goals of the committee.

She noted that the team has invested time and energy into the consideration of priorities for the remainder of the financial year, ending in June.

“We call this ‘a golden start’. It marked the beginning of real, meaningful change and a restoration of hope and dignity in the City.”

Phalatse highlighted seven fundamentals which the committee hopes to achieve:

“This is the golden start to our five-year term. When the Integrated Development Plan and the budget is tabled, the work done to begin fixing our broken City and restore it to its shine will be fully revealed. There is no lack of determination. Through collective efforts and the participation of all, it will be done and we will succeed,” said Phalatse.
