Oppelt wants Alex hospice to thrive

ALEXANDRA – I have committed to walk the journey with her and ensure the project thrives, says Chatel Oppelt.

A Cape Town-based institute is championing Alex Hospice and Rehabilitation Centre’s road to self-sufficiency.

Executive director of the Institute for Applied Alchemy Chantel Oppelt has been involved with the hospice since she was introduced to it a year ago by Charles Mphephu of Alex Men’s Forum, an organisation that deals with gender-based violence.

“I have not looked back ever since Charles introduced me to Mam’uGrace. I think she is an incredible woman with so much love for her community and more especially the terminally ill with no one to care for them.

“I have committed to walk the journey with her and ensure the project thrives and becomes an envy of many and the world,” Oppelt told Alex News.
