Man found dead with stab wounds by a passerby in Alex

Police detectives are investigating a murder case after a man was found dead with stab wounds on November 20 in Alexandra.

The deceased was found on London Road near the N3 onramp in an open veld at about 6:45 am.

Police spokesperson Sergeant Simphiwe Mbatha said a fellow sergeant received a call about a body in an open veld on London Road.

“On arrival, he found an unknown African male between 40-45 years old wearing a blue work suit with a stab wound to the right eyebrow and neck. The deceased was discovered by a passerby in the morning and the motive for the murder is still unknown.”
