Alex-based DJ drops new EP to celebrate his birthday
ALEXANDRA – This time around, Phatpro has teamed up with his stablemate Jovislash, and he also introduced two fresh new talents in the two-track project.
Thumaka Music Record label’s very own Alex-based DJ Phatpro has yet again released a new extended play on his birthday, November 11.
This is habitual for the Ligwalagwala FM resident DJ as he does it every single year. This time around, Phatpro has teamed up with his stablemate Jovislash, and he also introduced two fresh new talents in the two-track project that is titled Provember.
Wena Fela features the Alexandra songstress, Nicholen who sings melodically in Xitsonga language on a tropical samba beat. It is a love song specially dedicated to Phatpro’s fans.
The lead single, Vibe, that features Rawry and Jovislash is all about celebration, as DJ Phatpro celebrates his birthday and Ligwalagwala FM’s show, the Hip-Hop Parliament, for the nomination of the South African Hip-Hop Awards for best radio show.
DJ Phatpro has left his indelible mark on the music scene after working closely with legends like Flabba, DJ Sabby from YFM, and Habida from Kenya.
“The Provember EP is made to, and released, in celebration of many things including life itself,” he added.
Provember is available in all digital stores, including iTunes, Deezer, and Google Play to name a few.
