ALEXANDRA – Artists have been silent for far too long and the time is now ripe for its voice to be heard once again, says Molepo.

Alexandra Arts Academy will host a poetry session at its premises at Sankopano Centre on September 24.

The session, which forms part of the annual Arts Alive International Festival of the City of Johannesburg, will see more than 20 poets recite their poems.

“We feel the arts industry has been silent for far too long and the time was now ripe for its voice to be heard once again.
