NPO hosts feeding scheme programmee in Alex

ALEXANDRA – Sibambisene Foundation invites the community to join their feeding scheme program.


Alex based non-profit organisation (NPO), Sibambisene Foundation invites the children and the community at large to their feeding scheme programme hosted in Extension 8.

The programme commenced on 22 February and will run until 27 February. “Our objective is to FEED A CHILD. When the kids return from school they receive cooked meals. Kids receive their meals from 2pm until 4.30pm,” said Linda Mbatha, secretary-general of Sibambisene Foundation.

The foundation also offers meals to displaced people on the streets of Alex and from neighbouring townships. They have extended their gratitude to the Angel Network and the South African Jewish Board of Deputies (SAJBD) for their continued support towards the NPO and for sponsoring the feeding scheme programme.

Sibambisene plea for more sponsors so that they can continue supporting the less fortunate. “We wish for this programme to be an everyday thing and not just a week, should we get the strength and support from our beautiful donors,” concluded Mbatha.
