Models sought for Miss Alex Teen 2020 and 2021
ALEXANDRA – The Black Rose Academy is looking for models aged between 13 and 19 to enter the two pageants.
The Black Rose Academy in Alexandra is planning to host two Miss Alexandra Teen pageants this year to make up for last year’s postponed competition.
According to the academy CEO Marks Bernards, they are planning to host last year’s competition on 1 May this year and the 2021 pageant sometime in September. “We would like to make up for last year’s show that we were unable to host due to the outbreak of the Covid-19 global pandemic,” Bernards said.
Bernards added that the academy was looking for models aged between 13 and 19 to enter the two pageants. “We need modes that are interested in helping orphans and create opportunities for them including games and spending time with them.

“Our main focus as the Miss Alexandra Teen organisation is to help orphans through the attainment of bursaries, school stationery, creating quality time to spend with them and to show love and support in the hope of turning their life [around] for the better.”

The closing date for entries is 20 March. All successful candidates will be contacted before the end of March.
