Alex charity worker hungry to give back
ALEXANDRA – Charity worker appeals for partners or sponsors to come on board to sustain the legacy of her mother and granny.

Letsoalo who only registered her non-profit company last year is hungry to continue her charity work of giving back to the communities that moulded her.
Her organisation has been silently doing its work in the community of Alexandra where she was born, and Soshanguve in Pretoria where she grew up after her mother passed away and had to relocate to live with her granny.
Interviewed by Alex News, Letsoalo said the communities of Alexandra and Soshanguve made her what she was today. “In Alex, where I was born, my mother used to welcome children from the neighbourhood and she would cook and all eat together like a family,” she said.
When she relocated to Soshanguve, she found her granny doing the same. “Her door was always open to neighbouring children who needed to be fed, and she would even go to the extent of asking me to call all my friends I was playing within the street to come and have a meal with us.”
Because Letsoalo grew up in this free-giving and selfless spirit, she decided to take it a step further to provide food relief to members of the two communities that resonate so much in her heart.
Born in 18th Avenue in Alex and attending Inkanyezi Waldorf School and later East Bank High School for grades 8 and 9 before moving to Soshanguve High School for matric, Letsoalo said the life lessons of her mother and granny were the ideals that inspired her to form the charity organisation.
Now residing in Bramley, Letsoalo, the only daughter of the late Seloane Handrietta Letsoalo and Barney Moloi who lives in Qwa Qwa, appealed for partners or sponsors to join her in her fight against hunger in the two communities.
“I am hungry to continue the charity work and preserve the caring legacy of my mother and granny and the only way I can do this is through partnering with the would-be donors to deliver the relief items.”
Letsoalo thanked Lyndhurst SUPER SPAR and the Gift of the Givers for their donations of food parcels over the years.
