Man found with six bullet wounds in Alexandra

ALEX – Mbatha said that during the examination along with the paramedics, six bullet wounds were identified.

Police detectives are investigating a murder that took place on 24 November at about 10pm. 

According to Alexandra Police Station spokesperson, Sergeant Simphiwe Mbatha, an Alexandra police duty officer was called to 50-2nd Avenue Alexandra.

“On arrival, the body of an unknown 51-year-old male was pointed out to me by Alex police members. The deceased was lying on his back and not breathing,” said the officer that was on duty.  

Mbatha said during an examination by paramedics, six bullet wounds were identified on the man’s body. Five cartridges were also found on the scene.

All role players were summoned to the scene.

No one has been arrested yet. A  docket was opened for further investigation.
