Alexandra police search for a missing person
ALEXANDRA – Community members are urged to assist in locating Sydney Mavela Shabalala who was last seen on 16 August.
Alexandra Police Station officers are appealing to the community for assistance in locating 40-year-old Sydney Mavela Shabalala.
According to Alex police, they received information from his girlfriend, Winnie Lubelo, that he left his place of residence– number 28,14th Avenue on 16 August at around 8.30pm.
“He went to visit his friend who is staying in East Bank, Alexandra, but never returned home. At the time of disappearance, it is unknown what he was wearing,” explained Sergeant Simpiwe Mbatha, the spokesperson for Alex police.
