Man found with multiple gunshot wounds in Alex

Police detectives are investigating a murder of an unknown man in Roosevelt Road in Alexandra on 14 November.

According to Alex police spokesperson, Sergeant Simphiwe Mbatha, on arrival they found the body of the man and next to it were five cartridges and four fired projectiles.

“The deceased had multiple gunshot wounds to the body. Role players attended the scene with a paramedic of the Department of Health Emergency Medical services. The body was handed over to the Government Mortuary,” said Mbatha.

A murder docket was opened for further investigation. No one has been arrested.
