Covid-19: Take a moment to appreciate all those on duty

JOHANNESBURG – While you are indoors, others are out risking their lives for you. This is your chance to show gratitude to all those who are on the frontline.

A Whatsapp chain message has surfaced on many community groups urging South Africans to take part in spreading cheer to those who are on duty, even during this difficult period.

The message reads:

On 27 March (Friday) at 8pm, can you all either stand on doorsteps or open a window and clap and cheer as loudly as you can for all the frontline workers – medical staff, carers, food and medicine delivery drivers, shop workers and anyone else on the frontline – risking their own lives to makes yours better. Let’s try and get this around the country.

Share this message as many times you can to motivate and show gratitude to these hardworking individuals.
