Gresswold side harvests a good crop of players from its trials

GRESSWOLD - HP Stars is delighted at the crop of players it harvested in the recent trial, both for the mainstream and the newly formed street soccer side.

HP Stars founder Prince Hitlers Ndlovu is a happy man following the good crop of players he harvested in the club’s recent soccer trials.

Trials for U15, U17 and U19 teams of the Gresswold-based club were conducted at Lyndhurst Primary School on 18 January.

“I am happy with the crop of players I managed to harvest and I am quite confident they will add more firepower to the various age divisions and make sides very competitive.

“I went in search of the players in order to reinforce the squads in good time for the opening of the 2020 season which begins in two weeks’ time. I am sure by the time the league begins, the new recruits will have found their feet in training sessions of the teams and raring to go,” Ndlovu said.

He has recently started a street soccer team and said he had also managed to recruit some amazing players.

“I managed to recruit some of the strongest and best street soccer players including the revered bull of street football, Tokyo. That department is also well sorted out.”
