Welcome gift opens Mc Weiler’s for 2020

ALEXANDRA – Black Child Initiative rebrands Alex education space.

Mc Weiler Primary opened 2020 on a high with a new partnership that donated items to prevent social aspects that impede learning.

This support, termed Black Child Initiative, is from a partnership of Buddies Consortium and Siga Culinary Restaurant who donated stationery and other school items. “Our vision is to rebrand our youth by giving back to the community through the school. The aim is to decrease school dropout and through it, new HIV infections, unplanned and unwanted pregnancies and unemployment,” the group said in a statement by their chairperson David Ndala who wished the learners success and a prosperous 2020.
