Alex Northrand LFA to screen its junior teams for membership

ALEXANDRA – The junior teams of the Alex Northrand LFA need to undergo a screening process to validate their membership before they can be allowed to play in the upcoming league season.

Junior division teams of the Alexandra Northrand Local Football Association are advised to ensure that all their teams undergo a screening process that will be conducted by the competition’s committee of the association.

According to the secretary-general of the Alex Northrand LFA Malvin Khumalo, teams’ juniors (U13 to U19) need to produce a membership form and complete another form for the screening process.

Teams will only be afforded the opportunity to pay their affiliation fees once they have been screened and have received the acceptance letter for the 2020 season, Khumalo said.

The screening process, which opens on 20 January and will close on 31 January, will be conducted at the association’s offices at the Alexandra Stadium between 5pm and 7.30pm while the 2020 league season is expected to kick off on 15 February.
