Ten members of a known gang are wanted by the Alexandra Police Station for alleged business robbery and attempted murder at a tavern.
Station spokesperson Captain Stephen Malatji said the incident occurred at about 6.45pm on 28 October. “The suspects who were armed stormed the outlet surprising its owner and the patrons. They demanded money and valuables, searched and took the victims’ cell phones and cash all estimated at R33 000.
They shot a bystander on the hand as they left and he was taken to a hospital for treatment.
