Fisokuhle Dladla set to release his third album early next year

ALEXANDRA– Maskandi music artist has urged music lovers to stop piracy and buy music from official music outlets.

Local maskandi music artist and songwriter Fisokuhle Dladla is set to release his full third album early next year after his two previous albums received a thumbs up from music lovers.

Dladla grew up in KwaMaphumulo, midlands of KwaZulu-Natal and moved to Johannesburg in 2004. He released his first album titled Ithemba Lami (My Hope) in 2017 and Ngivele Ngijabule (I’m happy) in 2018. He said his music was aimed at preaching the gospel of love, peace, unity and hope in society through his unique sound.

He said his third album is set to be on the shelves and in all digital music platforms before the Easter holidays of next year.

“I grew up listening to legendary artists like the late Khulekani ‘Mgqumeni’ Mseleku who passed away in 2009 and Sibongiseni ‘Chalaha’ Ngubane who died last year. I was inspired by these maskandi legends. In 2005 I joined my brother’s music group called Sbonani Dladla as a dancer and later as a backing vocalist. My brother taught me a number of things about the music industry and supported me when I started my own group in 2016.”

Dladla promised his supporters and music lovers the best-ever maskandi album with 15 tracks.

“My previous two albums were well received by music lovers but this new album will be something else. The standard and the sound quality of this work is something they have never heard before. They will not have to jump or select one track because all of them are worth listening to.”
