Squad spokesperson, senior personnel officer Raymond Sambo said two loaded 9mm firearms were recovered from the suspects after they crashed their getaway Mercedes Benz vehicle into a wall at the intersection of 6th and Chadwick avenues in Wynberg. One of the suspects, a car washer, seemingly took the vehicle without the owner’s permission.

“Squad members on crime prevention duty saw them attempting to hijack a White Polo vehicle at the intersection of Grayston Drive and Linden Street, Sandton,” Sambo said.
