An Alex man is facing a rape charge from his girlfriend after she alleged the tail end of the all-night sex encounter was without her consent.
The incident occurred on 7 September in Alex. Alexandra Police Station spokesperson Captain Stephen Malatji said the complainant confirmed consensual sex between the lovers for a while until she affirmed her satisfaction to the accused.
“But seemingly, he continued forcing himself on her all night despite her pronounced displeasure. In the process, he told her that he owned her private parts and could only stop when he was done.”
In the morning, she reported him to the Alexandra Police Station for the rape.
