ALEXANDRA – Thatho Oratilwe, aka DJ Arch Junior, caught the attention of Alex News back in 2015 and his journey started when his father decided to buy him an iPad before he was even born so he could learn educational applications soon after his arrival in this world. Now he is making waves internationally ...

The youngest winner ever of a Got Talent show, who hails from Alexandra, Johannesburg, proves that six-year-olds have talent too.

Thatho Oratilwe, aka DJ Arch Junior, caught the attention of Alex News back in 2015 and his journey started when his father decided to buy him an iPad before he was even born so he could learn educational applications soon after his arrival in this world. His father used to play around with the iPad and mix tunes, unaware that the little boy was observing every move he made.

He would then grab the iPad and fiddle with it, copying what his dad was doing. He ended up mixing tunes on Virtual DJ and from there, to the amazement of his parents he progressed to playing on his father’s decks.

See him here at just two years of age:

The family realised his talent and potential and created a Facebook page for him. Within a month his page received more than 14 000 likes from all over the world. This prompted his parents to create videos of the boy and upload them on You Tube.

Within months of the video above being posted on social media, DJ Arch Junior had also captured the hearts of the award-winning house music duo Black Motion. The young sensation has also added a new art to his talents by learning to play the drums.

By the time he was three, he had entered SA’s Got Talent. He emerged victorious at the finals of e.tv’s South Africa’s Got Talent after brushing aside five of his opponents to bag R500 000.

He recently wowed Simon Cowell in the United States of America:
