Alex FM’s Juju Senyatsi wins Best Radio Producer award

ALEXANDRA – Alex FM midday show producer Juju Senyatsi said her mother Esther Senyatsi has been her pillar of strength and role model.

A 28-year-old Alex FM midday show The Real Deal producer Juju Senyatsi has won the Best Radio Show Producer in the Responsible Drinking Media Awards (RDMA) 2018.

The awards, which recognise journalists and media at large for their efforts to positively influence perceptions and habits related to the irresponsible use of alcohol, were held in Summer Place, Hyde Park on Thursday 13 September.

Born and bred in Alexandra, Senyatsi has been working as a producer for the community broadcaster for five years. “I was born and raised in Alex by my mother Esther Senyatsi. I’ve been working in radio for five years and my mother has been the pillar of my strength and my role model at the same time.”

The KwaBhekilanga High School alumna and Business Administration graduate from Boston College said the love for what she does comes from seeing other people’s lives to change because of what her show’s content gives them.

Senyatsi is currently studying media and journalism at Wits University and wants to own a media company in the future.
