Alex FM’s midday show’s content producer Juju Senyatsi (28) has been nominated for this year’s eighth Responsible Drinking Media Awards (RDMA) 2018.
The RDMAs recognise journalists and media at large for their efforts to positively influence perceptions and habits related to the irresponsible use of alcohol.
Senyatsi has been working in the community radio station for five years and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Boston College. She said she is extremely humbled by the nomination and thanked Alex FM management for affording her an opportunity to work in the community broadcaster.
“I am extremely happy with the nomination. It shows that I am doing a great job and my work is appreciated and acknowledged,” she said.
Sanyatsi’s show called The Real Deal, presented by Mmatsatsi Mokoena between 9am and 12am Monday to Friday, has recently won Best Midday Show at the 2018 Liberty Radio Awards.
Winners of the RDMAs will be announced at an official awards ceremony on 13 September this year and each winner will receivR15 000.00.
