Enter your artwork and win big

JOBURG – BIC is calling on enterprising South African artists to enter their artworks for the 2018 BIC Art Master Talent Search competition.

Artists from all corners of the Republic have been invited to get creative and put pen, pencil or crayon to paper to produce magnificent art that they can then enter to win big prizes.

The BIC Art Master Talent Search is on and artists are asked to get creative as the stationery category leader is giving them the opportunity to win prizes for the best art that is submitted using any BIC product, including BIC ballpoint pens and the graphite range of pencils.

Launched in last year, the 20 entries that receive the most votes will be viewed by a panel of judges who will select the final three winners. First-prize winner will receive R30 000, the second winner will get a Nikon camera bundle worth R8 000 and third-prize winner receives an artistry kit valued at

R3 000. But the remainder of the 17 finalists will not be forgotten either as each of them will receive R2 000.

The competition provides artists, whether they attend high, art or design school, university or are already applying their trade as an artist, with a platform that encourages them to create art using BIC stationery and entrants are called upon to draw bigger scaled art.

Artists in Gauteng can submit their work at open days to be staged at the distinguished art and design school, Inscape, on 22 June in Johannesburg. All entries will be showcased on a BIC microsite portal and the public will be encouraged to vote for their favourite piece of art.
