Constance Bapela dies after short illness
JOBURG - Former speaker for the Johannesburg Metro and deputy chairperson of the African National Congress (ANC), Constance Bapela dies.
Former speaker for the Johannesburg Metro and deputy chairperson of the African National Congress (ANC) in the region, Constance Bapela has died.
Bapela died on 16 February after a short illness.
ANC Joburg Region Spokesperson, Jolidee Matongo said, “The ANC Greater Joburg has lost a dedicated, committed and disciplined comrade. Bapela’s passing follows a short illness. We mourn the passing of our comrade and send our heartfelt condolences to the Bapela family.”
